About Me

My Background
I inherited my love of tennis from my mom, who has played and coached my whole life. Focused on baseball as a kid growing up in Yakima, Washington, I eventually switched to tennis in 8th grade and was instantly hooked. At 16, I got my first job teaching tennis to little kids. From there, I continued teaching and playing, competing in college as the captain of the tennis club at Western Washington University. After college, I got my first job as a tennis instructor, and spent a few years working for the USTA developing grassroots tennis programs in the greater Seattle area. I joined the staff at the Bellingham Training and Tennis club in 2019, where I currently serve as the Head Tennis Pro. My current focus is on developing the club's strong junior program and instructing beginning and intermediate players on how to improve the technical, physical, and mental aspects of their game.
